With just a couple of days left to the release of our new album we thought you might wanted to get a little trivia on the album. How did we do it, who did we work with and what will you hear? Well, here’s the story.

Finally you can find the entire VNRDS catalogue on Spotify. That is, if your’re lucky enough to have an account there… The new album will also be available on Spotify some time after the release on March 31st.

Head on over to MySpace and lend your ears to yet another taste from the upcomming album. The song is called «Oh Dear, That Is a Nice Boy», and that is excactly what we are!

Do not forget the show at Garage on Thursday 19th with the English band Sticken City. See you there!

And just in case you haven’t seen it already:

Yesterday was the first day mastering the new album. This time we are doing it at Strype Audio, the same place where we did «good rock for good people», which you all maybe remember? The man twisting the knobs is Audun Strype himself, a hell of a guy! This fellow really knows how to squeeze out the good rock. Tomorrow is the final day of mastering and then off to printing! Exciting times…

Then we are done shooting the video for Northern Winters! We all met up this afternoon with family and friends in a park in Oslo. Our good man Lars from Heute, had a Super 8 camera and a pair of skis, so as you probably can imagine – this is going to be a superb video! Tormod got the usual finger cut, and we all got wet, but we are very happy with the outcome. When will the video be released? Soon… very sooooon….

The Vineyards proudly presents the first single from the forthcomming album «The Vineyards». The song is called «So, We Shout It  On The Rooftops» and has prior to release already been playd on national radio.

You can hear the song on our MySpace profile.

The song is recorded in Sobotka Studios in Oslo and is mixed by the ledgendary Claus Grabke in Germany.

If everything goes according to plan, tomorrow we are recording a new video. And just as the last time, it is the wonderful guys at Heute who are doing the job. For those of you who know the VNRDS-trivia, the location is the same as in the last video. So if you are strolling by this «secret» spot tomorrow you can get a glimpse of history in the making. In the meantime you can go down the memory lane…
